Full of shorebirds and groups of harbor seals and sea lions!

 
I wonder why and how did they climb up that rock?

This is a huge gold course along the 17 miles drive.

There was this huge tree in the middle of the road! 

 Finally we finished the 17 miles drive, 

we stopped by the last beach on the way back to the north.

 We had delicious sushi for dinner!

What a nice day!

I'm so proud of ourselves, we didn't plan the trip at all.

Not even booking the hotel until night time! 

haha, what an adventure!
